FOR SALE 1927 Scripps F-6 marine engine with transmission. This rare motor was originally delivered to the Yandt boat works in Coeur d 'Alene, Idaho in 1927, but has been in my family since the 70's. Displacement is roughly 300 cubic inches and it is approximately 800 pounds. The motor is stuck and will need a complete rebuild by someone who knows antique motors with babbitt bearings. The carburetor and starter are missing. Scripps was an exclusive marine engine and could be ordered as an upgrade in your Chriscraft, Hacker or Garwood back in the day. Most other marine engines were conversions of auto engines or industrial engines. If you are looking for something different to set your wood classic apart from the rest this might be worth your consideration. Shipping arrangements and expense would need to be made by the buyer.
